We design precision stainless steel tubular assemblies in a range of diameters with precise tolerances. We use our in house laser welding facility to weld the joints, forming a high strength and leak tight seal. Laser welded joints require close fits to ensure a good quality weld, therefore we specify a light interference fit and press fit the parts together. We also offer in house capabilities in hand brazing and gluing processes and can provide vacuum brazing services through our trusted suppliers.
We can incorporate tubes, machined parts and devices such as thermocouples within the assembly. We are experienced in the design and manufacture of bending jigs and can manipulate tubes to meet the customer specification. We also offer various surface finishing processes in house to achieve the desired finish.
We perform comprehensive checks to ensure high quality, including dimensional checks, weld inspection, weld sectioning, pressure testing and leak testing.
Safety is of paramount importance, especially when dealing with high pressures and extreme temperatures. We perform detailed DFMEAs to identify potential safety issues in the early stages of development and where necessary implement measures to eliminate the risk, followed up with a detailed verification and validation plan.
