We can fully integrate ancillary devices within the coupling including items such as temperature measurement devices, detection devices, electrical contacts and microprocessors. This can provide many benefits, particularly when it is a safety critical device.
By incorporating either mechanical or software interlocking safety measures, the risk of accidental disconnection is eliminated. The inclusion of sensors ensure that the coupling will only operate once the sensors have reported that it has been connected correctly. Temperature measuring devices can also be useful for monitoring the temperature of the coupling or the fluids. Another useful benefit is the transfer of data through the coupling by the integration electrical contacts.
We are highly experienced in the design of push fit couplings for high pressure, low temperature applications, for use with different gases and liquids such as Liquid Nitrogen, Carbon Dioxide and Nitrous Oxide.
