At Nu Perspectives we have in house automated and manual gluing processes. We specialise in the use of cyanoacrylates and have developed gluing solutions that withstand high pressures whilst still remaining leak tight. We are also experienced in the use of potting compounds which can be used to provide extra strength and electrical insulation or to protect from moisture, chemical attack or physical shock.
Our automated process delivers precisely measured doses of cyanoacrylate adhesive, fill speed is controlled and vacuum suck back ensures that drips are eliminated. Our manual gluing processes are carried out by highly skilled operatives using both cyanoacrylate and potting compounds.
Many of our gluing processes are centered around single use and reusable medical products. cyanoacrylates are suitable for single use products and ETO sterilisation but cannot withstand autoclaving due to the high temperatures. Potting compounds can be used for reusable products and can withstand autoclave moisture levels and temperatures. We can supply medical grade, biocompatible glues where required.
