The International Cryogenic Engineering Conference and International Cryogenic Materials Conference is held every two years alternating between Asia and Europe. It presents the latest research and state-of-the-art developments in all cryogenics areas, including superconductivity, cryocoolers, cryogenic materials, and applications.

The 28th conference was originally planned for 2020, but had to be rescheduled due to the Corona pandemic, which is still limiting the possibilities to hold large meetings in person. To ensure the possibility of exchanging knowledge  within the community active in the fields of cryogenics engineering and materials, the event will be held online in April 2022. The virtual platform will allow oral and poster presentations as well as exhibitions.
